This week..
— was another time that the weekend wrapped up without a blog post completed! It was a busy but great weekend. I left from work on Friday afternoon and went to a concert with my brother in Omaha. I can’t remember the last time just the two of us hung out - and this sure was memorable! I had to drive home afterwards because T needed to leave early in the morning for a church activity. We are approaching his busy season as he finalized plans for the summer camps. His schedule is full of Zoom meetings so the kids and I often ride the bicycle + trailer to a local playground to pass the time.
— the kids continue to be hilarious. Elle heard a remix of a song she knows and exclaimed “this song is RIDICULOUS!”. Cal is incredibly expressive with his limited, one-syllable speech. “POOsh! MEEE! HIgh!!” with grand gestures accompanying his request. Elle is the sweetest, protective sister when Cal is scared like at the playground “Oh Cal.. it’s okay.. you’re okay..).
