This week..
— Cal insisted on trying the banana pepper in T’s salad and the picture above was his reaction. Ha! He was much more happy eating a solo piece of purple cabbage from the salad instead. We’re so fortunate to have kids willing to try and enjoy all foods! Cal continues to love to shoot hoops on his Lottle Tike hoop in the playroom. This weekend Cal kept insisting we raise it “high” and he grabbed his ball and “back”ed up as far as the room allowed to attempt long shots. He would almost tease you before he marched back until he bumped the wall behind him. He’s such a ham sometimes!
— Elle is loving building with Lego bricks. She can flip through the instruction book with good, though not perfect, attention to detail. She’s also excelling at learning the sounds of letters. She’ll hear a word while we’re running errands and repeat it to herself a few times then exclaim the first letter. I’m starting to worry she is going to be bored in Kindergarten.
— we’re down to 7 days until we leave for Disney. The kids have advent calendars of Disney figurines which are helping build the suspense. We’ve been prioritizing movies and I think they’ve been introduced to each of the characters we expect to see. I always struggle packing for weather different than what we’re experiencing but I think I have all the necessary things!
