This week..
-- Elle is loving being a big sister. She is sometimes remind by Dad to "be a sister not a parent" but you'll also hear her say a few times a day "hold on Cal- Sissy will help you!" They spend a lot more time playing together than they used to but there are still some good wrestling matches with hair pulling from Cal. She has nearly mastered her alphabet and is now walking around the house practicing the sounds of each letter. Her most recent screen-time picks include watching others build Lego Disney scenes, silly kid songs, or cheesy scripted video shorts.
-- Cal caught a stomach bug so Mom spent one evening sleeping on the floor with him. Thankfully it was short and it doesn't seem to have spread to anyone else in the family. He is FULL of giggles and goofy energy right now. He and Dad built a tower and he kept pretending he would knock it over just to get his reaction. He will also creep towards you on the couch with his hands up at his eyes wiggling his fingers before he pounces. I've probably mentioned before, but he is also the absolute best at sound effects. Probably the cutest right now is just the infection of his day-to-day speech. "Noooo" has a cute upward inflection with its head shake.
