This week..
— we had the privilege of showing my Grandma our new home in Grand Island. We had a lovely (kid free) lunch at the nearby country club and then spent some time at our home. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful matriarch of our family!
— the kids were realistically healthy! Cal isn’t done teething but our day-to-day routine felt fairly normal (whatever that means!). Elle has started labeling people her “best friends” and threatening to revoke that privilege if you do something she doesn’t like. She told me she was only going to be best friends with kids at school that are nice. I asked her for some names and she declared that everyone in her class is naughty but her. Ha! Cal continues to be fearless with exploring. We have some play mats/climbing structures/slides and he has no hesitation to climb on top and then stand tall. He does the same on his high chair. Thankfully, both kids are fairly sure-footed! True sibling behavior has begun as they both try to box each other out of parts of the playroom or argue over toys. Gone are the day when Cal is easily distracted and Elle can simply substitute a different toy.

Krista
