This week..
-- felt busy but now I cannot remember what cluttered our calendar. Probably the highlight for me, was Travis bought me a rowing machine to workout at home. I have had my eye on a specific $$$ version and he surprised me a few weeks ago by placing the order. It was delivered and he even paid for the assembly so I was able to get to working out the first night. We've struggled to find sustainable workout routines since having kids and I finally realized I need something that works the most muscle groups in the least amount of time and can be done within our own home. I'm excited to make this a regular part of my week!
-- we celebrated T's Grandma's birthday. Elle got to spend time with her cousins (second-cousins?) and she had a blast at the party store picking out some decorations. We spent time at the playground, playing floor is lava, and the kids thought their Happy Meal chicken nuggets with slushies were top-shelf. Travis and his uncle spent a few hours trimming trees and hedges to help out and then also snuck in 9 holes of golf. We kept the meal simple by picking up Olive Garden to-go so that no one had to spend the weekend stuck in the kitchen.
