This week..
— we’ve been enjoying the summer! You’ll find us at our nearby pool, riding scooters around the lake, eating rolled ice cream, or picking berries from our garden. The kids continue to enjoy their backyard swings which are almost always shaded from our mature trees. We’ve eaten our weight in smoothies and popsicles and ice cream. We are making the most of this season of life!
— there are too many stories to recount. But Elle was tickled the other night when “this day is the first time I’ve seen a real rainbow! This is the best day ever! I’ve never seen one in real life!” She still adds rainbow stripes to almost every piece of art and now she is careful to put the colors in the correct order. “Mom- red, orange, yellow.. then is it blue or green?”
— Cal is trying to get some massive molars in so he’s quite particular. On his daycare report, we’ve had “threw his plate” mentioned in the comments many times ha! If he had his way, he would eat Hershey’s hugs non-stop. He still has the cutest finger point ever, arm high in the air when he hears music, and the cutest little “huh?” shrug. Elle yells “CALLUM MICHAEL STOECKER!” on a daily basis but we wouldn’t have it any other way!
