Nashville

This week..

— we spent in Nashville! I’ll have to return and give a proper report but tonight got away from me. We had an amazing time staying at a HUGE resort while T attend a work conference. The first few days he was booked solid but we extend our stay to play for a few days after. We did very little as far as tourism but plenty of play and entertainment within the resort. The highlight for me was probably Elle’s excitement when we surprised her with a horse-drawn carriage ride. She also LOVED time at the pool and all of the entertainment including the fountain shows. The rest of the resort enjoyed watching her dance front and center and “conduct” the water. Other guests couldn’t walk past Cal without commenting on his smile or engaging with him. He practiced his walking back and forth over all different types of flooring. He was tolerant of our riverboat and pirate/princess themed toddler activities. Both kids were great stroller rides and often napped on the go. We came hom with a souvenir, COVID, but so far everyone’s symptoms are real tolerable. We would love to return to Nashville to get to see more than just the Grand Ole Opry and to eat at some of the famous spots. But I’m also proud of us for simply enjoying a vacation and not feeling pressured to “do all the things”. I took many more videos than photos so I’ll have to take some screen shots to share some highlights soon.
