This week..
-- was our first trial at "the new normal". I started orientation at work and these kids started their nanny/daycare with Gigi. Pap pap was able to stay for a couple nights but Gigi is the star of the show. The kids had a fabulous week. Elle continues to have a humongous personality with hilarious things rolling of her tongue. Her favorite toys this week are her astronaut helmet and her fireman megaphone. We have been watching a NatGeo docuseries and Elle watches each episode with complete attention.. she also asks (fairly intelligent) questions almost non-stop. Cal is on. the. go. He is all of a sudden, not only capable of rolling over, but he can now get anywhere in the room he chooses. It feels like we suddenly went from bringing a toy or two over to him for entertainment to him being able to scoot over to the toy shelf and pull down whatever catches his eye. He is also eating the little Gerber puffs and yogurt melts now which is a fun addition to our family meal times. He's had a cranky/chatty week but now we have the start of his front teeth to show for it!
