This week..

— Elle has been using Cal as her “patient”. Today, she took an X-ray of his foot, visualized a tooth, did surgery to remove that tooth, and then replaced it in his mouth. I asked how he got into this conundrum and she very seriously said with an eye roll “the tooth just slipped down there Mom!”  I used my conditioner in her hair after her bath tonight and she scolded Travis for touching her hair “Dad! You’re going to mess up my wrinkles!” She was referring to her curls.. We now coordinate when Dad is getting home so Elle can wait on the front porch. She loves to climb on his lap and help drive the car into the garage. Have I told you this before? She changes the shifter to drive and then steers down the driveway. It’s high on the list of her favorite things. 

— Cal giggled for the first time as Mom was moving his arms to dance around to a Lion King song. Travis walked in at just the right time to capture the second half on video. Cal did unfortunately get RSV from sister but thankfully had an extremely mild case! He has been super talkative but is still a very happy baby. He is a good sport laying on the floor or a blanket wherever sister is playing!
