This week..
-- Cal turned 4 months old. He is a smiley, drooly, handsome squishy boy! He will have his 4-month appointment this week and we will see how much he weighs. I think his sister had him beat at this age but we shall see! He is starting to interact with toys but is still terribly uncoordinated. He is happiest when someone is interacting with him but he will lay on his back on his toy mat for a good period of time. He quickly out-grew his current wardrobe and the gender-neutral "3-6mo" clothes I pulled from Elle's stash are also too tight. I have a shipment of 9mo clothing on the way!
-- Elle continues to be hilarious. She will instruct you to sit on the step in the basement and loudly announce "LADIES AND GENTLEMENS!" and then proceed to dance while singing an original tune. Eventually she pauses and prompts you to clap while she takes a slow, dramatic bow. She is looking forward to Halloween and has pretty consistently said she wants to wear a "purple princess dress with long yellow (well-o) hair". I've been instructed I'll be a witch. She is undecided on what she'll assign to Dad and Cal. She is so much fun.
