| "Mom! Take our picture!" |
This week..
-- Elle frequently says "for real life!" Like, "Mom! I saw a puppy at the playground! For real life!". Today she asked Gigi to act out the 3 Billy Goats Gruff with Elle starring as the "horrible green troll". When Gigi didn't cross the bridge right, she demanded we watch it on YouTube while she narrated/schooled Gigi. Gigi has been a huge help this past week while I have been on/off call. Elle even got to stay home from daycare twice to hang with her solo. Her imagination continues to entertain as she took a lawn decoration and insisted it was "her sewing thing (needle)" and then unrolled a strip of bubble wrap as "her wedding dress" and insisted we couldn't leave for a walk until she was done with the project.
-- Cal continues to eat, smile, drool and sleep! He is 1 pound less than Elle was at this age but he sure wears out your arms on a long walk! He is acting like he is teething but there are no teeth yet to speak of. He gives the best cuddles!
