This week...
-- about as fast as we were over HF&M, Elle is sick again now with a harsh cough. She's tough, but it has been tricky to keep them apart so Cal doesn't get sick. So far, he is still his smiley, healthy self! This illness really threw a wrench in our weekend plans, but we made the most of the slow weekend at home! We did (impulsively) buy a keyboard from a friend earlier this week and Elle has been having a blast adding a track to her improvised songs. Unfortunately, it was probably made to use commercially, like in a church, because the volume slide gives her way too much power. Tomorrow I work 24-hours in the ER which will be my first evening away. I have delivered a few babies in the middle of the night since Cal was born, but I've always made it home for his overnight feed. Hopefully Elle is on-the-mend so the kids can be in the same space *fingers crossed*
