-- we refreshed Elle's summer wardrobe. This was the first time I took her with to the store because she is very particular about her clothing. It was chaotic as you can imagine but at least we have shorts and shoes that fit! Whenever we are at the store she thinks of something she very passionately wants to find for baby brother. This trip she wanted to pick out bibs and a book. My primary nurse threw me a baby shower after work on Friday and my coworkers stocked this baby up with diapers and adorable clothing! This week, as she was singing a spontaneous song, she demanded I sing it with her. "Mom! You sing the outside song too!" She has started taking her scooter on our neighborhood walks and yesterday she was able to use the brake instead of dragging her foot to slow down. She was so tickled with herself that she dismounted from her scooter after every stop and turned around and giggled with excitement/pride. But don't tell her anything is "adorable" she is convinced "that is a bad word Mom!". She is excited for this coming week because she understands that baby brother is coming - but she would really rather us be quick and not be away overnight.
