This week..
-- I finally got my closet organizer delivered and installed! I have yet to get my clothes back in place thanks to a Sunday evening ER shift. We also added another wall in the basement instead of the current hodge-podge stone and paneling situation. Elle was cracking us up all weekend as she played gamemaster. She sat us in a circle and declared that we would take turns celebrating birthdays! We each had a turn wearing a party hat while we baked a pretend cake, blew out the candles, and sang happy birthday. And of course, each step was done with absolute enthusiasm. Sunday's game of choice was hide-and-go-seek. Sometimes we play by the usual rules but other times she first tells you where she is going to hide, orders you to go count, and then giggles repeatedly while you look for her. We're having record-setting low temperatures so we are very thankful for entertaining indoor games!
