This week..
-- we had a very ordinary New Year's Eve - I'm pretty sure we were in bed close to 10pm. It was my holiday to cover call at the hospital/ER so we've been in just-get-through-the-weekend mode. Elle handled it better than I expected! I thought she would have a disaster of a weekend coming off the excitement of Christmas and a week being home from daycare. Tomorrow's it's back to normal life around here! Elle's imagination continues to entertain and amaze us. Today she went on-and-on about her pretend "(com)puter!" and how she liked to play games on her computer and then instantly that same couch pillow was now a car and she was buckling herself in tightly, grunts and all! She has audible conversations while playing with her baby dolls and scolds one of the twins for taking the other twins bed or diaper. There are a lot of dramatic diaper changes for these baby dolls! She continues to enjoy the inflatable bounce-house she received for Christmas and it has been a great outlet for energy when its dark and cold outside. We're looking forward to a more normal upcoming week and getting back into the routine of things!
