This week..
-- Elle had her second dentist appointment and second haircut - neither of which she was thrilled about. She still doesn't like the dentist (even though she goes to the cutest pediatric office that sings to her, talks about "princess paint" on her teeth, has a wall of vending machines for a price at the end, etc!) but she admits hair cuts are "no big deal dad!". She wanted to go to "lots and lots of stores' to pick out a gift for Dad. She saw her pile of wrapped gifts and enthusiastically told me to "go wrap some more Mom!". We had 3-4 inches of snow this weekend so Elle got to play in her best friend's backyard. 50% of the outing was probably spent replacing gloves but the rest was giggles and snowball thrown at dad. We still remind Mom and Dad at least daily that we don't want Santa to come down our chimney because his boots will get dirty. She enjoyed taking cookie plates around to neighbors and felt gipped when one was standing in their driveway already so she didn't get out of the car. We were gifted a Pez dispenser today at church and that has quickly become our new favorite candy "can can!".
