This week..
-- E enjoyed looking for Easter eggs with her best friend! The two of them go to daycare together and her parents work at the hospital & clinic with me so we felt like it was reasonable to do on this gorgeous spring day. (We did stay 6' from each other!) Elle had a blast looking for eggs but always stopped to open each one and check out her prize before looking for another. We had a less-traditional Easter meal with potato/bacon/corn chowder, rolls, and flopped carrot cake cupcakes. They were totally deflated so we made them into a layered dessert instead. Elle loved playing with our Resurrection Egg set but only had the patience to hear the story once. On Saturday we had a group chat with my siblings which is something we should do more often! Everyone's perspective and experience is so interesting because about half of the group is still working full-time and the other half are home from work. Most of the group is working from home and the two of us who aren't are fairly jealous! The back deck is officially, completely, beautifully finished and we spent most of our time out there until the snow today (activities to date: dancing, dining, moving watching, relaxing, and sun bathing!)
