This week..
-- life is starting to look different as we try to do our part to help flatten the curve from COVID-19. We enjoyed a quiet weekend at home as our church services and activities have been postponed world wide. I quickly recorded a video for our hospital to post on their Facebook page reiterating some of the basics of the advice given by the CDC (of course, I ended up doing it exhausted and without a shower due to an unexpected 3:30am c-section!). I've shied away from the attention it is receiving but I am proud it has been viewed >10,000 times and that hopefully it helps people to remain calm and empowers them to keep themselves and others healthy! Tomorrow, I will also speak for a few minutes on a local radio station. Wish me luck!
-- Our project out back is almost finished - we ordered the stone for the fireplace which they are anxious to install with the nicer weather in the forecast. This seems like the perfect timing to add a relaxing space, right?
-- Elle eats basically non-stop. We anticipate she will eat half of any snack we grab for ourselves. She has always been quick to ask for "more!" when she likes food, but the other night she got basically unlimited bites of brownie as she learned to say "peeaaazzeee" with the cutest little smile on her face. She is high-energy often running laps around the house giggling to herself. She will climb on almost anything just to jump off. She does puzzles multiple times a day (both electronic and her favorite magnetic-backed set). She still loves playing with her toy kitchen and this week, everything was "hot!" when she brought it to you. Bedtime was a hassle most nights this week as she was still full of energy so this coming week we will work on wearing her out with activities before bedtime instead of winding down. We shall see if it works!

xo,

Krista
