-- we loved the spring weather and made multiple trips to the park and many walks around the block. We did a few backyard chores but mostly just played and enjoyed the sunshine. It felt good to have unscheduled time this weekend. Elle loves to run around the playground, climb up the small slides and then slide back down. She sometimes demands that Mom or Dad take a turn and tells us "weee" as she points down the slide if it's our turn. She giggles and shrieks as she makes her rounds. She also talks frequently about her friend from daycare, Rosie. She often tells us "whoa-zie" (takes a deep breath and turns out her hands "home." We continue to feel blessed that she is a good eater and we only have to make "toddler food" if she needs to eat before ours will be ready. This daylight-savings adjustment is the wrong direction from what we need as Elle was already gravitating to a later bedtime. But we will just snuggle up and enjoy the cuddles until we get back on track!
