This week...
-- was my last week of maternity leave so we made it a fun one! Elle had her first trip to the swimming pool (she was pretty un-amused, but she didn't dislike the water or get sunburnt so we'll consider it a win!), we went on many daytime walks (including to church on Sunday!), and ate at 3 different food trucks in town (grinders, BBQ, and fish & chips!). We had our nanny spend another day with Elle to iron out any wrinkles (it went well!) and I spent the day in Kearney shopping and eating without having to rush! We also hung some shelves in Elle's room to display her books and they're super cheerful. I can't say we are totally ready for tomorrow but we've prepared as best we can!xo,
