This week..
-- the highlight was definitely my brother's visit from NYC! We've been able to FaceTime a few times since Elle was born but this was her first chance to meet her uncle! The visit was short & sweet but we loved every second. We had some good laughs at a community garage sale, walking around the neighborhood, and sharing a meal together. We even had time for our favorite activity - front porch sitting! Elle is so loved!
-- we also ventured out to the county fair and watched bull-riding and mutton busting! I love rodeos and this was especially entertaining because it's on a smaller scale so you are SO CLOSE to the bulls. What incredibly powerful animals! Between the near-perfect weather and more time with our new friends - it was a fantastic night! It did end a few minutes early when the little miss went on a bottle-strike and couldn't hang any longer - but we're still so happy to get out and enjoy our new town!
