This week..
-- T's work sponsored a night for the local hockey team so while he spent some time doing some marketing/networking, I watched the game from the suite! Plus, we had the chance to poke around a local children's boutique which was both very exciting and overwhelming at the same time..
-- a retired couple moved in to our new house in Holdrege! We never planned to have "renters", but they are professional genealogists through our church who have a project to complete at the museum in-town. They are going to stay in our guest bedroom until we move-in this summer. T and I love that someone will be there to keep an eye on the place - especially since they aren't the stereotypical renters. We're mostly excited to be able to help out! We ordered a few sets of roman shades online for their bedroom and bathroom and got the internet up and running - but overall the house is still mostly unfinished. They are just thrilled to find a place to stay since short-term housing can be so tricky and expensive. Don't worry, they insist we still make trips to begin to move and check on the house, so it won't change our routine much!
