HO2-- WEEK 37

This was almost some other owner's guest bathroom!

This week...

-- T continues to spend the majority of the day studying for his licenses for this new job. He's definitely sick of studying but is doing a great job sticking with it! He is hoping another strong week or two before he can take the exam and be done!
-- I started a new rotation working with the pediatricians in-town. I'm working with them in their clinic but it's definitely busy days due to cold/flu/norovirus season! Pediatrics was my first love so this will be an enjoyable month for me.
-- house update: we came very close to having to walk away from the house this week when the appraisal came in below our offer (like, tens-of-thousands below...). Unfortunately, being a small town, there were not the best recent comps (because the price-per-sq-foot of our home was already very reasonable!).   Thankfully, it worked out in our favor, because the seller accepted the appraised value in exchange for us paying their closing costs. It  will work out to be a savings for us over the life of the mortgage. Crisis adverted! (And for those that have asked, I promise we will post more pictures of the house once it's officially ours and I can take some better pictures..)
