HO2-- WEEK 10

A quick selfie on our walk to Gma & Gpa's for dinner when I realized we had no picture for the blog.

This week..

-- our kitchen ceiling leaked was fixed! I'm sure you were all waiting anxiously to know.. However, we had another house hiccup. The fridge lost it's cool- again. We've had to do the "quick-shuffle-the-important-or-expensive-things-to-the-mini-fridge-and-chest-freezer" dance before. No fun. Like the last time, a few hours after we noticed it was back to <40F. We will continue to make frequent, smaller trips to the grocery store in case it happens again..
-- T finally completed a Hunter's Safety course in the state of Nebraska! All his life, he has done his hunting in other states so he never took the class. Though he was 10+ years older than any other person there, he is finally certified to hunt in our state. Now he's trying to talk me in to a fancy deer rifle.. I think Grand Island is wearing off on him! In other news, T is now helping out with the teenage boys at church and leading their Boy Scout Troop. Although it will be a lot of work, he is happy to help out (and secretly can't wait to re-race his old pinewood derby cars!).
-- we are enjoying the Olympics! However, we are regretting not subscribing to cable when we moved. We were hoping to eliminate our TV habit but we are totally missing the live sports! For now, we are trying Sling TV but we may be back to traditional cable before we know it!
