HO2-- WEEK 11

So glad there is another book!  Certain family members should be glad I
didn't have any old pictures handy of the other book releases..
This week..
-- I got to see a few of my residency friends from Omaha when they were out here for work additional training! It's great to see familiar faces (and have an excuse to eat out!) Thankfully, my patient in labor wasn't ready to deliver until we finished dinner together-- it worked out perfect! OB is so fun but it can be hard to be available 24/7. I'm sure it's a balance I'll have to continue to work on throughout my career but we are making it work for now!
-- we managed multiple dinners at home, delicious dinners! We've had a terrible habit of grabbing lunch & dinner on our way to/from our commitments- it's so convenient! But we are finally getting back in to a routine and making meal-planning a priority. Of course, after a large run to Hyvee our refrigerator lost it's cool. Tempted me to give up cooking altogether! But we've restocked and our weekend meals have been scrumptious. So hopefully we will stay back in the swing of things.
-- we spent a fair amount of time on the couch cheering on Team USA! We've thoroughly enjoyed following the Olympics closely are going to be super bummed when it's over. Good thing football season is just around the corner! In between our favorite sports, we are slowly (intentionally!) reading Harry Potter and the Cursed Child together. Life is so good!

Krista
