HO2-- WEEK 8

The hospital where I work
This week..
-- we had a nice "welcome reception" with the physicians in our clinic. It was catered with delicious hors d'oeuvres and gave T a chance to meet the other residents & docs. I'm grateful to be working with fabulous people!
-- T and I both were asked to speak in church today which is always rewarding but nerve-wracking. We love being highly-involved in our church community and helping out however we can. However, it has been nice to not have to share T on Sunday mornings for meetings before church like he had in Omaha. We've enjoyed having more "simple" Sundays since the move.
-- I continue to work shifts in the ER plus take call for our practice one night per week. Throughout residency I will have this same volume of call which includes hospital admissions, nursing calls from hospitalized patients, and any outpatient calls/questions from clinic patients. Our lifestyle should be much more maintainable here in GI. We're excited for better balance!

xo,
Krista
