This week..
— the kids leaned FAR into the “isn’t fair” argument. At one point, Cal was whining that it wasn’t fair that his toy car didn’t have a trunk because Mom and Dad’s cars have trunks! Elle definitely started the trend but Cal was quick to pick it up.
— we had good friends over. They have 2 kids that are similar in age to our kids and 2 kids that are younger. It was interesting to see a direct comparison on how far our personal family has grown. We got to see how we’ve outgrown breast feeding, and non-verbal kids, and naps and bibs.. of course we know all of these milestones but it caused both T and I to reflect just a little bit more on what this stage of life is like with our kids!
— the Duplos never got officially put away from the living room. They are in play non-stop. Elle has been building some form is a safe all week and Cal makes different versions of parks/farms.
