-- my family threw me a fabulous shower! Saturday, my parent's house was filled with many of our dearest family and friends to celebrate this kiddo! We had a delicious brunch and then everyone totally embarrassed me with their generous gifts. We are so appreciative of all the love and support we've already felt. I can't believe this kid is almost here! The due date sounds so far away at first, and then, all of a sudden, it's birth month!
-- we are also one step closer to moving in to our new house - we have window coverings! We picked out shutters and blinds nearly one year ago but kept putting them off to make sure we didn't need the extra cash for the garage or any other more pressing projects. It feels like the final house project before we move in our belongings - which is scheduled for later this week! Yay! We plan to leave our mattress and live out of of a suitcase for however many remaining days until baby. We shall see! Sometimes even the best laid plans don't work out..
