This week we...
-- took the kids to the grandparents and had a date night! We bought season tickets to the Supernovas and it was their first match of the season. T and I are excited to have a reason to schedule dates - and watch incredible athletes!
-- Elle continues to mature and at times feels like a kid, and other times blurts out oddities like "The school spaghetti is THE BEST spaghetti in the whole world! It's warm. The sauce is really nice. It's so good." She also has been listening closely to song lyrics. We had a movie playing and the lyrics are "the world doesn't need another dream girl". Elle spontaneously launched into an argument "Mom! This song is not right. We SHOULD have dreams and goals [...]". She had 2 playdates this weekend with two of her best friends - so she's on cloud 9!
-- Callum sang a phrase from daycare at least 200 times today "hard work makes us strong!" It was absolutely stuck in his head. He was ecstatic that the weather was nicer today and he could take the Barbie Jeep out for a spin in the driveway. He and Elle also jumped on the trampoline until their toes were frigid.
