This week..
— ended with a visit from Gigi and Pap pap! The kids played and giggled and were sad when Sunday morning they left to go home. Elle reflected on playing card games and said “it was good I taught them Go Fish so they can go home and teach their friends!” We are in the midst of planning a vacation so there were many conversations regarding those details. Unfortunately, T is under the weather so we’re having a lazy Sunday.
— Cal’s newest phrase is “lemme see!” He is very interested to see the groceries you are buying online or the game you’re playing on your phone. He may try to make a few clicks but then the phone is right to his ear for a fake phone call. He wants to be right in the mix when you’re baking in the kitchen though thankfully respects anything you deem “hot”.
— Elle is active and imaginative. There was music playing on the TV so she grabbed a chopstick and claimed to be conducting the orchestra. This morning she was mixing glued and silly putty in a small container with a tongue depressor trying to make a new substance. She is loving a new set of toys from her cousin - and especially patrolling Cal and barking out rules when he plays with her.
