This week..
— Cal is crawling laps around the house and pulling up on furniture. He starting to eat minuscule pieces of real food (fruit, noodles, etc). I’m not sure he’s had a taste of anything he hasn’t liked. He is still incredibly sweet the majority of the day but has been a handful to keep entertained at church the last couple weeks. He would really like Elle’s water bottle or toys which royally irritates her if they are moved even one inch from where she set them up.
— Elle spends a good portion of her day in dress up. Sometimes it’s obvious the character.. otherwise she’s insulted you used her real name. She enjoys snuggling up for a movie at the end of the day which has been a fun new family tradition for us. We are making our way through the recent Disney movies and the other animated movies from the last 10 years. She often wants a “Daddy drink” while we watch which is some version of a sprite/ginger ale with a splash of cherry/raspberry syrup or orange juice.
