— has been chaotic but also so, so successful. We could not have done it without the help of our families! We *think* we’ve found all the essentials and have most things in logical places. Elle camped in our bedroom the first night but once we setup her room, she declared she never wanted to leave because “it’s so beautiful!”. She continues to make us smile with her dramatics “MomMomMomMom SLOW DOWN we gotta talk about something! How about we move ALL the toys from downstairs to my room!!” She has been a real trooper. This weekend has involved a lot of time in the same space with the people she loves most but we’ve been distracted and often slow to put down our tasks to “play MommyDaddy” or be served another bowl of “soup” from the play kitchen. The second night in this house, after she failed to nap from all the excitement around her, she laid down in her bed in her new room and slept all night.
— Cal has been battling some virus. He puked the night before we moved and then had a fever 2 nights later. Despite not always feeling like himself - we have still shared SO MANY smiles and giggles. He is getting super active when he plays on the floor. He sits very well but is quick to lunge forward if there is something enticing. He is most intrigued by phones, watches, and paper. He was quick to snatch any instructions we were using to assemble furniture or anything his sister thought was precious.
— I didn’t take many pictures because I was so focused on balancing taking care of children and moving - but soon I should have some pictures to share of this new place. It’s a beatitude space for our family!

Krista
