This week..
-- Cal continues to eat and grow! I don't have an updated weight because his next visit is in a couple days. We are thankfully in our last box of gifted 'newborn' size diapers and are ready to move up to the next size! He is still a very relaxed baby but has started spitting up more - especially if T is wearing him and especially if he's wearing work/church clothes. We're doing a little more laundry around here than when Elle was this age.
-- Elle continues to be so beautifully inquisitive. When we left church today, she wanted to see "where the missionaries live mama? Where is their house?". We drove downtown by their apartment and a train happened to be passing. Elle was thrilled so we pulled parallel to the train in a parking lot and rolled down our window in the rain. She watched each train-car pass asking "where are they going? can we follow them? what do trains have in there? are there toys?" After the train passed, she wanted to "chase it mama!". We drove parallel down the highway until we were ahead of the train - so then of course we turned around and watched it on the way home too. It's so fun to cultivate this toddler curiosity! She also cracked me up when we drove through a puddle and he tidal wave almost reached her open window "Whoa Mom! What was that?! I wasn't 'specting that! Whoa! I'm getting a little bit of rain in here but.. thats okay!".

Krista
