This week..
-- was all focused on Easter! Elle did a great job decorating Easter eggs but I don't think T or I exhaled until the dye was out of the cups and down the drain. The kit we bought this year had clear sleeves with Easter decorations that you shrunk with a hairdryer around each egg. Elle loved it! This was the first holiday since the pandemic began that all of our high-risk family members were vaccinated and we were able to spend time together again. We spent Saturday with T's family and Sunday with mine. So nice to get back to family gatherings! Elle had a blast looking for Easter eggs at both celebrations. She gasped and shrieked with the same excitement for egg #1 and egg #100. She exclaimed "Thank you Easter Bunny!" as she ran around her yard. Unfortunately, she is not a willing participant in family photos so we don't have any beautiful, posed memories captured - but we have great videos!
