This week..
-- Elle helped us finish another wall in the basement which really makes the play space feel more homey and less like a dingy basement. Hopefully tonight, we will be able to put the carpet back in place and bring back the toys! We enjoyed being back outside a few hours this weekend - both at the playground and around the neighborhood. T threw snowballs at E on the playground while she hid in the tunnel and plugged the open holes with her hands. She's been cracking us up with her imagination - lately putting on pajamas has been a battle as she pretends to put on an imaginary set and then is adamant she already has some on. This week she broke into song singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and then insisted we join her in singing "NEW SONG!" as she changed the lyrics. We sang "Mary Had to go Potty" and "Mary Had to Go to Bed". We also took one of the sides off Elle's crib to convert it to a toddler bed last night. So far, it has been successful, but I'm not at all confident we are out of the woods!
