| We're excited about the new Nerf guns! |
-- seems like a blur. I can't quite tell you what we did with our time but it felt busy. There was more news-watching, vaccine-planing, project planning and future vacation planning than other weeks. My closet organizer was finally in-stock (I ordered it right before the world shut-down and for months the shipping date remained unchanged before the company outright cancelled my order this fall). We're spending more time in the basement using Elle's playroom due to the weather so we're making some plans for a few small cosmetic projects down there too. We had an ultrasound and found out the gender of this next kiddo! It's still a secret as we have announcements still in the mail to family. Elle is as entertaining as ever! She now insists on being the "line leader" to get upstairs and then sprints to our bedroom and slides between the mattress and the fitted sheet to "hide". Every night. She has some super sweet moments too - she will often reply "love you too dada" to any random outburst of "love you Elle!". She sometimes wants to pretend to be another character when she's dressed up and other times she strongly corrects you "NO! I'M ELLE!". She's too cute!
