This week..
-- wasn't the Thanksgiving we had planned but we made the best of it anyway! We enjoyed the long weekend together as a family. Elle is at a magical age. On the way home from church today we made a circle around the neighborhood and she was elated at every "Santa Claus!! Snowman!!" she spotted. She decorated Christmas cookies with a friend and used a very healthy amount of sprinkles on each one. She is cracking us up as she continues to repeat things she's heard from other adults "Mom! (l)isten to me! Here are your choices..go play or sit here". This week she was entertained taking my stock pot and dumping as many toys as can fit "Mom! I'm making soup. Don't touch. Boiling. Really really hot." We still use an adorable amount of adjectives "really REALLY yummy!". We're starting to be able to sing along to the ABC song and often sing Baa Baa Black Sheep or Patty Cake to our baby dolls. She's the best!
