This week..
— was a little challenging because daycare was closed for a funeral so we had to split the week in PTO to take care of Elle. The good news is, it’s super fun to stay home with a toddler when they are healthy! I did have to ensure a strategic nap one day so I could attend a lunch meeting while she slept in the corner of the room in her stroller. Taking a stroller into the hospital was a first for me! My parents are also awesome and helped out over the weekend as I worked a 72 hour shift in the ER. I probably received no less than 30 picture and video messages documenting her time with her grandparents. She had an absolute blast! She got exactly what she wanted which is outside every possible minute of the day, exploring the neighborhood looking for birds and bunnies, and playing with/eating a cooler full of ice!
