-- little miss got her first set of immunizations at her 2 month check up. She handled the pokes as well as you’d expect until a few hours later when her legs turned bright red and she screamed. We rocked her and gave her a dose of Tylenol and then she was back to her normal self. She now weighs 13 pounds (88th percentile!) and is 22 inches long (31st percentile). Her head is an impressive 94th percentile! Check out her one month photo to see how much she's grown!
-- Elle had many visitors this week! My Aunt and Uncle stopped by to meet her and one of my best friends spent a day with us. We've also started a tradition-of-sorts with Grandma, Great-grandma, and Great-grandpa visiting most Sunday afternoons. She is lucky to be loved by so many people! Next, she gets to meet ANOTHER Great Grandma this coming week. What a good week!
-- we had an exceptionally lazy 4th of July. We made some loose plans and then abandoned them when staying-in and just hanging out as a family was more appealing. Moving to Holdrege has been a pleasant transition because we don’t have a lot of pressure to be overly “social” at this stage of life when Elle is a little high-maintenance and we don’t get much time with Dad.
