-- we spent the weekend in Omaha with family! Two of my three siblings were in town and we tried to maximize our time together. The highlights of the weekend included breakfast at a coffee shop (Culprit), dinner to celebrate T and Dad's birthdays with extended family, skyping/facetiming those that couldn't be there, meeting our cousins' new babies, and just spending time together.
-- (-end) we also celebrated T's birthday by going to the Garth Brooks concert! It was an incredible show - not just because he's a great entertainer and musician - but because the crowd was ELECTRIC. We were at the afternoon show (which you wouldn't expect to be fired up) but he had to repeatedly pause the show because the crowd was so loud. They also went a little off-script an honored one of their backup singers as well as a Grand Island native on their crew. Worth. every. penny. Plus, we rode together with my favorite aunt & uncle - bonus! I love when T's birthday gifts include me!
