HO2-- WEEK 27

Dinner @ Kona Grill -- delicious!

This week we..

-- kept with our tradition of completing nearly all of our Christmas shopping on Cyber Monday. We have just a couple gifts left to figure out and we're feeling pretty excited about things. We've been keeping the UPS and Fedex men busy with all the deliveries! Gotta love Amazon Prime!
-- were able to get out of Grand Island long enough to make it to our friends annual sweater party! We weren't thrilled about the snow Omaha was getting that night but we were able to navigate the highways to our friends lake house safely! We also snuck in some Christmas shopping and dinner with my parents which was a bonus. We're grateful Grand Island is close enough that we can still make same-day trips when needed.
-- finally gutted our pumpkins to cook the seeds AND, for the first time ever, hung Christmas lights! We need one more strand before we call it complete -- so no pictures today. Sorry! We're trying to have a little more holiday cheer this season because, before, with my crazy work schedule in Omaha, the holidays seemed to come & go in a blink. We were frequently left disappointed that our time was so short. If you have any fun traditions -- we'd love to hear them! We starting tonight with watching the annual Christmas Devotional (with a real fire in the fireplace!).
