HOI-- WEEK 39

the fancy, ridiculously comfortable shoes T bought for me
for Valentine's Day (even though he thinks they are masculine)
-- no more cold feet this winter!
This week..
-- I am writing this blog post laying on by back on the leather couch in our resident lounge staring at the ceiling, waiting for pages from nursing in the middle of the night. I'm currently in a stretch of night shifts before we switch rotations March 1st. Tonight has been a mix of admissions, medication readjustments for current patients, and a heart-breaking code with a huge family present. It's quiet moments like these when I have a chance to reflect on how much I've learned over the past 5 years! To be a physician it requires a lifetime of education but I'm so grateful for the incredible training I'm receiving at UNMC. There are a lot of places you can train to become a Family Physician and I am so blessed to be training at one of the best!
-- T did the grocery shopping and has been spoiling us with amazing dinners. We've had gourmet burgers, chicken stuffed with jalapeƱos & cheese, and cajun chicken breasts with roasted vegetables. YUM. We're enjoying the beautiful sunshine this week!

xo,
Krista
