HOI-- WEEK 14

This week I...
-- feel extremely grateful for this current stage of life. I've thrown a few pity parties about the hours I work and my student loans, but I wouldn't change a thing. T and I have really learned how to cherish the few minutes we have together and he's learned to tolerate my "snoozes" on the alarm clock whenever I set it before 5am. Sometimes I still feel like I need to pinch myself -- there is no way we deserve this grand life!
-- enjoyed seeing some very good friends who were in town for the football game. They are the best! I was thrilled to be out of the hospital Saturday in time to watch the game! I may not make it to any games this season but I hope to watch the majority of them.
-- made my mom happy when I went car shopping a found a beauty! The Honda didn't even have a key fob so I have lots of Owner's Manual reading ahead.. but this car is definitely safer than my last one (and that is what's important!) T and I definitely don't feel entitled to such luxurious cars but we completely appreciate them after driving our other cars for so many years/miles! We were lucky and (thanks to the internet) were able to find and buy it the one evening we both had open. It was meant to be!
-- am looking forward to two consecutive days off for my birthday next weekend! This week will be my last as a 25 year-old. How crazy! I'm not sure as a kid this is what I would have imagined I'd be doing, but that's the joy of this life. You never know what it has in store!

Krista
