M3-- WEEK FORTY EIGHT

So I'm writing this as I sit in the resident workroom at the hospital. Tonight I'm on overnight call so I've been working since 6:30ish this morning and will be here working until 2ish tomorrow afternoon. Medicine can be crazy!

But I have some pictures to share from our Memorial Day fun! We invited my parents to join us on a quick camping trip to Calalmus, NE (just north of Grand Island). 

The drive started with some serious rain

But thankfully the weather cleared up when we arrived!

Our weekend was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun:

I always have to try something new over the campfire.. this time I perfected the art of cinnamon rolls:

The pie iron over indirect heat was the definite way to go

I also tried combining glow-stick-guts and bubbles for some glow-in-the-dark fun (I got the idea online). Don't try it. It totally doesn't work:

This rotation has been extremely busy for me but I am learning a lot! Wish I had time to write more, but hopefully these pictures give you a taste of our getaway. Have a good week!
