M3-- WEEK FORTY TWO

HOW WE EASTER
We celebrated today with a late lunch at my parent's house. On my plate you'll find apple salad/smoked turkey/stuffing/roasted vegetables/mashed taters/dinner roll and don't miss the pineapple pretzel fluff on the side! That was a new recipe for our family. T and I also made two new kinds of homemade ice cream: fresh strawberry and blueberry pie. The blueberry pie was easily my favorite of the two.
I fell in love with cooking & baking in my parent's kitchen -- so it is always fun to back and preparing meals in it! Even if it's just minor assembly of a salad I prepared at home..

After eating, we enjoyed the gorgeous spring weather with some ping-pong in the backyard! It's a tradition to play some "run-around" ping-pong. Then we ended up in doubles -- T hates me as his partner. I am not very good and I don't take it very seriously.. This picture is perfect. This is exactly how I remember the games -- T "coaching" and taking it very seriously while I giggle and only sometimes focus. T probably does deserve a handicap of a few points when he has me on his team..

Last weekend we celebrated Easter with T's family - which is super fun with "the littles". I took very few pictures, and I must have had some filter turned on because they are all dull, but here are a few (mostly of the littlest little):
We were able to watch the oldest sibling's soccer game (T kept J busy with their own little soccer game). Then we had a delicious ham/steak/cheesy potato/pumpkin bar/grilled pineapple lunch. We ended the day with an Easter egg hunt for the 3 cousins and, as you can see above, J eventually caught on to the game!

I'll end this Easter Sunday post with my favorite church video right now (you may have seen me post it on Facebook as well):

Have a great week!

xo,
Krista
