M3-- WEEK THIRTEEN

I had another good week in Grand Island! The grandparents are still spoiling me.. the docs are still awesome to work with.. and the weather has been gorgeous! In fact, the weather has been so beautiful that after we finished up in clinic early on Friday afternoon I took an old bicycle for a spin around town (until my bum couldn't take another second of the rock hard seat!) But the highlight of the past week would definitely be seeing my hubby yesterday! If you follow me on Instagram then you've already seen some of the videos from our cousin's first birthday party. (If you aren't on the Instagram train, you can access my pictures and videos on the left side of this blog.) Saturday morning I rode with my Grandparents to Lincoln to celebrate this little guy:

Another selfie of the new do!

T had a blast in the backyard on the trampoline. There were flips and tricks as well as a variety of "don't let the ball touch you" games.

I only have a few pictures of the day.. that shows how much fun we were having! The party was a cute monkey theme complete with banana pudding and celery cut to look like trees with a swinging monkey. I learned to play pitch and T played about 100 games of  rock-paper-scissors with our cousin. She always threw scissors.. except for the few times she threw rock and the words from her mouth were "rock-paper-scissors-rock" instead of "rock-paper-scissors-shoot". Too cute. I did get a few pictures of my favorite part of all 1 yo birthdays - the smash cake!
I have a busy night ahead of me. We bought a Groupon to make a photo book from our road trip this summer (you know, that one that we barely recapped here on the blog..). Well, our Groupon expires this week. After our trip I thought that by posting pictures on the blog stop by stop it would force me to sort through the pictures without getting overwhelmed. Whoops. Didn't get very far with that plan! So, now I have just a few hours tonight to sort through the 1,800 pictures and get some sort of book organized. Yikes. It's going to be quite the task if the perfectionist in me rears her head.. we shall see! If I finish the book, maybe I'll reward myself by baking some brownies ;) I can always be bribed  motivated by food!

I hope you all have a fabulous week and enjoy this beautiful fall weather!

xo,
Krista
