M2- WEEK SIXTEEN

As my sister would say, it has been a "nose-in-book" kinda week around here. T is still chugging along with his MBA classes and I have 5 days left before break :)

FYI: The picture of me is pretty accurate- you will almost always find me studying my notes on my iPad with  my headphones in. I've learned to study listening to the Pandora station: Jim Brickman. Studying with music is an awesome trick to master because it means you can study virtually anywhere! PS-If I am doing something fun like blogging, then right now my Pandora station is She & Him (Holiday).

T's picture is less accurate because until our laptop died this week he hardly ever worked on our desktop. He likes to work on his homework slowly throughout the week as he watches television. I, on the other hand, would rather dive into a project, finish it, then join him on the couch. Tomato, tomahto.

Anyway...

T is burning vacation time next week so he has the whole week off! Tomorrow he has a list of over 10 stores to swing by for Christmas shopping. What a champ! That will leave us with two gifts left to order online- one which we spent 4+ hours making today. I love surprises! He also gets the pleasure of taking my car to the repair shop (my ABS light has been acting up for 6+ months now. Prayers that it isn't a dreadful amount of $ to fix it!)

Other awesomeness:
+ the tasty treats we've been assaulted with daily from our neighbors. We've honestly started freezing some because we cannot keep up with all the goodness
+ watching crazy numbers of deer and turkey in our backyard
+ singing in the choir in church. la la la la
+ our fridge that screams "end of semester" (total contents: sour cream, cool whip, hummus, and eggs. My parents would probably argue that since there is cool whip, the contents are adequate. Honestly. They consume impressive amounts of cool whip.)
+ turkey, apple, brie sandwiches during a long study night at school
+ not having a million finals like many of my friends at other schools
+ celebrating friends birthday's with enchiladas and cookie cakes. yum.
+ laughing lots and lots with those friends
