M2- WEEK FOUR

You know you are a busy medical student when..
+ your good friends understand your busy life well enough to leave messages like this on your wall:

+ this is how you spend the night of your birthday:

+ you frequently eat what you like to call the "dinner of champions":

+ and the highlight of the weekend is your chance to go grocery shopping!

You know you are an incredibly blessed busy student when...

+ your friends at school don't let you get away with skipping your birthday-- they surprise you with breakfast and pay for your lunch.

+ you are showered with awesome gifts you've been wanting (cast iron skillet, camelbak water bottle, thick mat picture frames, reusable shopping bags) and this canvas:

+ friends know you well enough to surprise you with froyo gift cards and cookies

+ your family is super flexible and finds a time for everyone to be together to celebrate

+ you are showered with so much love each day that you don't mind spending your birthday preparing for your test the next day

Things I am looking forward to in this next year:
+ becoming a proud owner of the new iphone 5 :)
+ completing year two of medical school!
+ cruising to Alaska with my fantastic hubby (and hopefully some friends!)
+ a new baby cousin in the next month or so
+ taking my step one board examinations (I should say, I am looking forward to being done with step one!)
+ continuing to find new projects around the house (and learn new things in the process!)
+ a birthday trip for T in October to this speedway
+ my sister graduating from college!
