This week..
-- Callum continued to asks "wherrrrre's Daaaaaaad?" and "wherrrrrre's Viiiiiiick?" and "wherrrrrrre's Sissssss?". He was a HUGE fan of the fruit punch in the big-kid cup at Freddy's. He lines up to run sprints across the living room at least once a night. He backs up to one wall, then he says jibberish with very recognizable "Ready, set? Go!" inflection before he bursts into a sprint. He'll go back and forth twenty or thirty times before falling into one of our laps. His favorite toy of the week is a swimming turtle the kids were gifted for Christmas. He shrieks as it makes it's way around the tub. He can now hold it while it's moving but it took all week to muster up the courage.
-- Elle is still hooked on YouTube. This week is has been videos watching other's build Disney castles with Lego. When we tell her she's had enough screen time, she'll launch into a rebuttal of all the things she's learning. She's very excited about how long her hair is growing. It is still very fine/thin and short up front but there are some longer pieces in back! She's been a mostly sweet big sister this week coaching Cal through different activities. There was "pizza with parents" at preschool on Friday and Elle loved having us there but admitted it made her sad the rest of the afternoon. She spent her free time this week perfecting her Barbie neighborhood in her loft. She now has their house (complete with home office), a place to get married (with extra seating up top so you can see!), a clinic with a cafeteria, and her Disney Castle is Disneyworld! She keeps getting sidetracked as her Barbies keep getting admitted to have babies - this morning the Mom had a second baby and when I exclaimed that 2 babies is a lot, Elle responded "At least it's not three!".
