This week...
-- I questioned if it was worth it to get two (recovering) sick kids to church. But then, during the first song, I saw Elle closing her eyes and dancing along with her arms and I knew it was worth the effort. This week has been all about surviving with 2 kids with rough coughs. T spent most of this week sleeping/notsleeping in Elle's bed to help her through the coughing fits. I had a middle-of-the-night delivery and my typical wake ups with Cal. Now I have a couple day stretch of call before we get super busy the next 3 weekends. Elle often asks "Can you tell me a story about X". It's her way of asking for you to teach her more about street lights, or toilet plungers, or whatever else new catches her eye. Cal has become amazingly quick at trying to grab your phone or plate of food. He is completely infatuated with whoever is eating. He has been enthusiastic about the few things he has eaten so far. The floors at the new house are done being refinished so we can get a few more things set up ahead of the move! A lot of our focus the next few days will be to prep for Christmas so we can juggle everything!
